COL FB: Arkansas 41, South Carolina 20

COLUMBIA, S.C., Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Knile Davis rushed for three touchdowns and Ryan Mallet gained 303 aerial yards Saturday in No. 19 Arkansas' 41-20 victory over No. 17 South Carolina.

Davis piled up 110 yards and Mallett -- one week after setting a school record with 409 yards -- hurled a TD pass with one interception and also rushed for a score for the Razorbacks (7-2, 4-2 SEC).

Davis crossed the goal line twice in the second quarter to put Arkansas comfortably ahead 24-7, once on 2-yard plunge and again when he ran down the right sideline, stayed in bounds and got across the goal line for a 21-yard TD.

The Gamecocks (6-3, 4-3) got an uneven game from Stephen Garcia, who threw for only 161 yards with two interceptions and a touchdown on 14-of-29 efficiency.

South Carolina saw its two-game winning streak snapped but could still win the SEC East with a victory over Florida in Gainesville next week.
