Jerryd Bayless had another 15 points for the Hornets, who had six players in double digits.

The Clippers, who have been hampered by injuries while limping to a 1-7 record this autumn, were led by reserve Al-Farouq Aminu's 20 points and 11 from Ryan Gomes.

New Orleans jumped off to a fast start and took a 27-18 lead after one quarter. They outscored Los Angeles 31-22 in the fourth quarter to foil any attempts at a comeback.

The Hornets shot 50 percent from 3-point range while the Clippers were 5-of-16 for 31.2 percent.
