NBA: Orlando 128, Minnesota 86

ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Vince Carter led Orlando to a huge first half Wednesday that sent the Magic coasting to a 128-86 victory over Minnesota.

The Magic scored 78 points in the opening two quarters and reached the 100-point mark with more than a minute remaining in the third period.

Minnesota played two games in Florida in as many nights and lost them both by a combined 76 points.

Carter was one of seven Minnesota players in double figures, scoring 20 points while playing just 27 minutes. Ryan Anderson and Brandon Bass both had 19 for the Magic, who made 15-of-31 shots from 3-point range.

Kevin Love scored 26 points to lead Minnesota. Orlando outrebounded the Timberwolves 56-39.
