PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 17 (UPI) -- Roy Oswalt held San Francisco to one run over eight innings Sunday, keying the Philadelphia Phillies' 6-1 win that evened the 2010 NLCS at one win apiece.

Oswalt (1-0) dominated the Giants, allowing only three hits and three walks while striking out nine. He also contributed a base hit and scored from second base on Placido Polanco's seventh-inning single.

Jimmie Rollins belted a bases-clearing double and drove in another run with a bases-loaded walk for the Phillies, who will now go to San Francisco for Tuesday's Game 3 with a home win under their belts.

Giants starter Jonathan Sanchez (0-1) yielded three runs (two earned) on five hits over six innings. He was plagued by wildness, allowing three walks, though he struck out seven.

Cody Ross connected for his third solo homer in two games to provide the Giants' only offense.
