NHL: St. Louis 5, Anaheim 1

ST. LOUIS, Oct. 11 (UPI) -- Matt D'Agostini fired in two goals Monday, leading St. Louis to a 5-1 win over Anaheim in which the Blues outshot the Ducks 53-14.

The Blues also got goals from Andy McDonald, B.J. Crombeen and David Backes. T.J. Oshie picked up a pair of assists.

Jaroslav Halak only let in one of the 14 shots he faced. That goal went to the Ducks' Saku Koivu.

Jonas Hiller was peppered with 34 St. Louis shots in less than two periods, letting in four before being replaced by Curtis McElhinney. McElhinney faced another 19 shots, letting one get past him.
