HOUSTON, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- Chris Johnson hit a three-run homer in the sixth inning Thursday that rallied the Houston Astros to a 3-2 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Los Angeles has lost six in a row, its longest skid of the season.
The Dodgers took the lead in the first on a two-run blast from Andre Ethier and it remained a 2-0 contest until the Astros got to Ted Lilly (8-10).
Hunter Pence singled to open the sixth and Carlos Lee drew a walk. After Jason Michaels flew out to right, Johnson hit a 3-2 pitch over the wall in left for his eighth homer of the season.
Los Angeles loaded the bases with one out in the seventh, but could not take advantage of the threat and then went quietly in the final two innings.
Bud Norris (7-8) got the win with a six-inning effort. He gave up three hits while helping Houston win for the fifth time in six games.
Brandon Lyon picked up his 14th save with a 1-2-3 ninth. The Astros opened a 10-game homestand.
