SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Kosuke Fukudome homered and rookie Starlin Castro had three RBI Tuesday in the Chicago Cubs' 8-6 win over San Francisco.
Each team racked up 14 hits and San Francisco scored four runs in the final three innings before coming up short in a comeback bid.

Ryan Dempster (10-8) got the win, giving up four runs -- three earned -- on eight hits in 6 2/3 innings.
Buster Posey went 3-for-4 for San Francisco, which has lost five of its last six.
Tim Lincecum (11-6) made it through four rough innings, giving up six runs on eight hits. Chicago rocked the two-time Cy Young winner with four runs in the first inning.
