CHICAGO, June 10 (UPI) -- John Danks allowed one hit over seven innings Thursday in a 3-0 Chicago White Sox victory over the Detroit Tigers.
Danks (5-5) walked four and struck out four in addition to the one hit he gave up. Chicago relievers Sergio Santos and Bobby Jenks each also gave up one hit with Jenks collecting his 10th save.

Max Scherzer (2-6) allowed all three White Sox runs, including a first-inning home run by Omar Vizquel, his first of the season, and an eighth-inning homer by A.J. Pierzynski, his third.
The other Chicago run came in the sixth when Vizquel got Gordon Beckham home on a sacrifice bunt.
