The Giants seemed well on their way to gaining a win for starter Tim Lincecum, who was taken out of the game in the ninth after allowing only three hits and fanning 11 over 8 1/3 innings. But Wilson couldn't hold a 4-1 lead.

San Francisco's Andres Torres drove in three runs, including a game-tying run in the bottom of the 10th off Ryan Madson (1-0), who blew the save for Philadelphia but ended up with the win.

Sergio Romo (0-2) was saddled with the loss after allowing the deciding runs in the 11th.
