DENVER, March 10 (UPI) -- Mikael Samuelsson scored all three of his goals in the second period for his first NHL hat trick Tuesday and the Vancouver Canucks beat Colorado 6-4.

Trailing 4-3 entering the third, the Canucks rallied with goals by Alexandre Burrows, Jannik Hansen and Daniel Sedin to capture their fourth win in five games. Hansen's game-winner landed in the net after he skated through the crease and deflected the puck from goaltender Craig Anderson.

Sedin had two assists.

Roberto Luongo stopped 23 shots for Vancouver.

Matt Duchene scored two goals and Chris Stewart had one in the first period for the Avalanche, who have lost four of six. Peter Mueller scored one in the second period.

Anderson finished with 26 saves in the defeat.
