HOUSTON, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Luis Scola scored 23 points and Aaron Brooks had 20 Saturday to lead Houston past the visiting New York Knicks 105-96.
The Rockets ended a three-game losing streak with the victory, their seventh straight at the Toyota Center.
David Lee led the New Yorkers with 26 points and a dozen rebounds. Nate Robinson contributed 20 points and Wilson Chandler scored 17.
Houston outscored the Knicks 54-39 in the second half, including six consecutive points in the final 2:48 to put the game away after New York had pulled to within three points of the lead.
The Knicks led 57-51 at the start of the second half, but an 8-1 spurt early in the third quarter tied the game. New York led 79-78 at the start of the fourth quarter.
The Rockets held a slim lead through much of the fourth quarter before pulling away late in the game.
