DETROIT, Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Jay Cutler fired four touchdown passes Sunday, piloting the Chicago Bears to a 37-23 victory over the Detroit Lions.
Both teams have completed the 2009 season, Chicago with a 7-9 record and Detroit, which lost its last six games, 2-14.

Cutler's scoring strikes were for 7 yards to Greg Olsen, 9 and 12 yards to Devin Aromashodu and 1 yard to Desmond Clark.
The Bears' quarterback completed 22-of-36 passes for 276 yards.
Daunte Culpepper connected on 23-of-34 throws for 262 yards, including a 12-yarder to Bryant Johnson and a 5-yard toss to Calvin Johnson, for the Lions.
Chicago's Robbie Gould and Detroit's Jason Hanson each kicked three field goals.
