Titans lose LBs Bulluck, Thornton

NASHVILLE, Dec. 21 (UPI) -- Tennessee Titans linebackers Keith Bulluck and David Thornton will miss the rest of the season because of injuries, team officials said Monday.

Bulluck will be out due to a torn knee ligament, while Thornton sustained a shoulder injury. Titans head Coach Jeff Fisher said both players will be placed on injured reserve.

Bulluck was a key defensive iron man, starting all 14 Tennessee games this season. He led the team with 108 tackles and collected three interceptions and seven passes defensed.

Thornton had 11 starts for the Titans, racking up 59 tackles, one sack and a forced fumble.
