MLB: Texas 3, LA Angels 2

ARLINGTON, Texas, Sept. 19 (UPI) -- Scott Feldman and three relievers combined on a seven-hitter Saturday, carrying the Texas Rangers to a 3-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels.

Feldman (17-5) gave up two runs and four hits in 6 2/3 innings.

Neither Darren O'Day nor C.J. Wilson surrendered a run before closer Frank Francisco gave up a hit in a scoreless ninth, earning his 23rd save.

Hank Blalock's solo homer, his 24th, produced the winning run, snapping a 2-2 tie with one out in the bottom of the sixth.

Elvis Andrus and Chris Davis drove in runs for the Rangers, who had scored only one run in their past five games.

Los Angeles scored on Mike Napoli's solo homer and a Torii Hunter RBI single.

The losing pitcher was starter Jered Weaver (15-7).
