ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., July 28 (UPI) -- B.J. Upton and Carl Crawford each had two hits, an RBI, and a run scored Tuesday to help the Tampa Bay Rays beat the New York Yankees 6-2.
Scott Kazmir (5-6) gave up one run on five hits in seven-plus innings to earn the win for the Rays.

Evan Longoria had a solo homer, and Dioner Navarro and Jason Bartlett each had an RBI for Tampa Bay.
Losing pitcher CC Sabathia (10-7) allowed six runs on nine hits in 5 2/3 innings. Hideki Matsui had two RBI for the Yankees, who have won 10 of their last 12 games.
