Suzann Pettersen equaled the course record with a 64 at the Tres Marias Golf Club, moving her into second place at 133. Ochoa shot a 64 in both the 2006 and 2007 tournaments and Inbee Park equaled that score last year.

Michelle Wie, who began the day a shot out of the lead, settled for a 71 Friday that left her in a tie for sixth place at 137 with Karrie Webb (67), Irene Cho (67), Sarah Lee (70) and Brittany Lang (68).

Brittany Lincicome, winner of the year's first LPGA Tour major title at the Kraft Nabisco Championship, missed the cut with a 147 total.
