NEWARK, N.J., Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Scott Clemmensen made 27 saves in his first shutout in nearly five years Monday night to help the New Jersey Devils beat the New York Rangers, 3-0.

Zach Parise scored two goals for New Jersey, raising his season total to 32. Washington left wing Alex Ovechkin leads the league with 37 goals.

Bobby Holik also scored for the Devils. Jamie Langenbrunner and Travis Zajac both had two assists for New Jersey, which has won 10 of its last 12 contests and leads the Southeast Division with 72 points.

Henrik Lundqvist stopped 28 of the 30 shots he faced for the Rangers, who extended their losing streak to five games.
