WASHINGTONJ, D.C., Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Rookie O.J. Mayo scored a career-high 33 points Monday to help Memphis end a 12-game losing streak with a 113-97 win over Washington.
Rudy Gay added 23 points and eight rebounds for the Grizzlies, who earned their first victory since Jan. 4 at home against Dallas. Marc Gasol had 22 points and 11 rebounds for Memphis, which got its first victory under new Coach Lionel Hollins, who took over Jan. 25.

Antawn Jamison had 29 points and 13 rebounds for the Wizards, who have lost six of their last seven games. Caron Butler had 21 points and nine rebounds.
The two teams have a combined record of 22-73.
