NBA: New York 112, Atlanta 104

NEW YORK, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Nate Robinson scored 20 of his 24 points in the fourth period Wednesday, igniting New York to a 112-104 victory over Atlanta.

The Knicks won for the fifth time in six games and defeated the Hawks for the first time in six tries.

Robinson's 24 points came in just 24:43 of playing time. David Lee added 17 points and 16 rebounds for his 34th double-double of the year. That ties him with Orlando's Dwight Howard for the league lead.

Al Harrington had 17 for the Knicks and Chris Duhon 16. It was the fifth straight home win for the Knicks, their longest such streak since Jan. 26-March 2, 2007.

Atlanta, which has lost three straight, was led by 28 points from Marvin Williams. Mike Bibby surpassed the 1,000 mark in career steals with three.

Robinson scored seven straight points early in the fourth period to give New York a 96-85 advantage.
