NHL: New Jersey 4, Ottawa 3 (OT)

NEWARK, N.J., Jan. 4 (UPI) -- Brian Rolston's power-play goal with 3:17 remaining in overtime Sunday gave the New Jersey Devils a 4-3 win over the Ottawa Senators.

Rolston scored on a slapshot, assisted by Johnny Oduya and Travis Zajac.

The Devils' Dainius Zubrus posted goals in the first and second periods and Jamie Langenbrunner scored with 3:40 left in regulation to tie the game at 3-3. Oduya also assisted on Langenbrunner's goal.

Nick Foligno, Brendan Bell and Chris Kelly registered the Ottawa goals.

Scott Clemmensen blocked 17 shots for New Jersey and Alex Auld made 31 saves for Ottawa.
