NFL: Chicago 23, Jacksonville 10

CHICAGO, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Kyle Orton's two touchdown passes Sunday lifted the Chicago Bears to a 23-10 win against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

He threw first-half scoring passes to Desmond Clark and Greg Olsen to lead Chicago to a 20-3 halftime advantage. In all, Orton completed 20-of-34 passes for 219 yards and one interception.

Devin Hester made five receptions for 80 yards.

Matt Forte rushed for 69 yards on 21 carries, and Robbie Gould kicked three field goals for the Bears (7-6), who have won two of three but remained one game behind first-place Minnesota in the NFC North Division.

For Jacksonville, David Garrard went 19-of-38 for 178 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

Maurice Jones-Drew rushed for 55 yards on 12 carries, and added a touchdown on 47 receiving yards after seven receptions in the Jaguars' fourth straight loss.

Jacksonville's Fred Taylor was held to 53 yards on 13 carries, but moved ahead of O.J. Simpson and Corey Dillon into 16th place on the all-time list.
