NHL: Toronto 4, Philadelphia 2

TORONTO, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Led by Nik Antropov's one goal and one assist Saturday, Toronto topped Philadelphia 4-2 in the first game for the Maple Leafs' new general manager, Brian Burke.

He signed a six-year contract hours before the contest.

Antropov scored on the power play (unassisted) in the second period, and assisted on Dominic Moore's second-period goal.

Lee Stempniak scored in the first period, and Pavel Kubina (unassisted) in the third.

Goalie Vesa Toskala stopped 28-of-30 shots for the Maple Leafs, who ended their five-game losing streak.

Mike Richards score both goals, one shorthanded in the second period, and goalie Martin Biron was beaten four times on 27 shots for the Flyers, dropped their second in a row after a six-game winning streak.

They also suffered their first regulation loss in 10 games, dating back to a 2-1 defeat to Tampa Bay on Nov. 8.
