GREEN BAY, Wis., Nov. 10 (UPI) -- Middle linebacker Nick Barnett, the Green Bay Packers' top tackler, is out for the rest of the season with a torn knee ligament.

Barnett, who has a team high 44 tackles this season, was hurt while trying to tackle Vikings running back Adrian Peterson in the third quarter of the Packers' 28-27 loss at Minnesota Sunday.
