MLB: Los Angeles Angels 7, Texas 3

ARLINGTON, Texas, Sept. 21 (UPI) -- Sean Rodriguez and Mark Teixeira homered and John Lackey shut out Texas for six innings Sunday in a 7-3 Los Angeles Angels win over the Rangers.

Rodriguez hit a three-run home run and Texeira belted a two-run shot.

Lackey (12-4) struck out 12 batters while yielding two hits in the Angels' ninth win in 11 games.

Hank Blalock hit a three-run homer for the Rangers in the ninth inning.

Scott Feldman (5-8) was the loser. Feldman worked six innings, giving up six six of the Los Angeles runs.
