MLB: LA Angels 4, N.Y. Yankees 3

ANAHEIM, Calif., Aug. 10 (UPI) -- Chone Figgins' RBI single with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning Sunday gave the LA Angels a 4-3 win over the New York Yankees.

The victory finished a three-game sweep.

Figgins led the Angels with two hits and two RBI. Erick Aybar and Mark Teixeira knocked in one run apiece, while both Mike Napoli and Vladimir Guerrero had two hits each in the Angels' fourth win in a row.

The winner was closer Francisco Rodriguez (2-2).

The Angels' Garret Anderson extended his hitting streak to 16 straight games with a second-inning single.

New York got one RBI each from Bobby Abreu, Alex Rodriguez and Robinson Cano.

Johnny Damon and Rodriguez had two hits each for the Yankees, who have lost five of their last seven games.

The losing pitcher was Damaso Marte (0-2).
