KANSAS CITY, Mo., June 29 (UPI) -- Jason LaRue homered, tripled and drove in four runs for St. Louis in a 9-6 win Sunday over the Kansas City Royals.
Albert Pujols also hit a home run for the Cardinals, who won twice in a three-game series.

Mark Grudzielanek led Kansas City with four hits, an RBI and three runs scored.
Chris Perez pitched 1 1/3 innings in relief of starter Braden Looper and picked up the win.
Brian Bannister (7-7), battered for seven runs and nine hits in 4 2/3 innings, took the loss.
