MLB: Cincinnati 6, Toronto 5 (10 inn.)

TORONTO, June 25 (UPI) -- Jay Bruce drove in Norris Hopper with a 10th-inning sacrifice fly Wednesday, lifting Cincinnati to a 6-5 win over Toronto.

Toronto starter Roy Halladay took the mound for the first time since being hit in the side of the head by a line drive off the bat of Pittsburgh's Nyjer Morgan five days ago. He gave up nine hits and five runs over 6 2/3 innings, but got off the hook when his teammates overcame a 5-0 deficit.

Adam Lind and Joe Inglett both hit two-run homers for Toronto in the third and Marco Scutaro's sacrifice fly in the sixth tied it.

The game stayed deadlocked into the 10th, when Hopper drew a lead-off walk against Brian Wolfe (0-2). Hopper moved to second on a walk to Paul Janish and David Ross moved both runners along with a sacrifice.

Jesse Carlson relieved Wolfe and gave up the sacrifice fly to left by Bruce on an 0-2 pitch.
