MLB: Milwaukee 4, Atlanta 3

ATLANTA, June 24 (UPI) -- Dave Bush pitched seven effective innings and the Milwaukee Brewers held off a late rally Tuesday to defeat the Atlanta Braves 4-3.

Bush (4-7) allowed just one run on four hits while striking out five.

Corey Hart and J.J. Hardy each had a double and an RBI for the Brewers, who have won eight of their last nine games.

Mark Teixeira had a double and hit a two-run home run in the ninth inning for the Braves, who have lost four of their last six. Omar Infante had the other Atlanta RBI.

Charlie Morton (1-1) was charged with the loss as he was gave up four runs -- two earned -- on seven hits.
