ANAHEIM, Calif., June 11 (UPI) -- Jered Weaver scattered four hits and two walks over eight innings Tuesday in the Los Angeles Angels' 6-1 decision over the Tampa Bay Rays.
Garret Anderson and Vladimir Guerrero each smacked two-run homers to help Weaver improve to 6-6 and stop a two-game Angels slide.

The loss went to James Shields (4-5), who was roughed up for six runs on 10 hits, though he did go the distance. Gabe Gross hit a solo homer for Tampa Bay's only run.
The Rays had won three of four coming into the contest.
