MLB: San Francisco 6, Colorado 5

DENVER, May 21 (UPI) -- Fred Lewis homered in the ninth inning Tuesday, enabling the San Francisco Giants to post a 6-5 victory over the Colorado Rockies.

Tim Lincecum (6-1) got the win despite allowing four walks, five hits and three runs in six innings. He raised his earned run average to 2.17.

San Francisco's Brian Wilson struggled in the ninth inning. Clint Barmes hit a two-out, two-run homer and Matt Holliday doubled off the top of the right-field scoreboard. Wilson intentionally walked Todd Helton and then got Garrett Atkins out for his 13th save.

San Francisco scored two runs in the top half of the ninth. In addition to Lewis's home run, the Giants got a run on Aaron Rowand's RBI single.
