NBA: Atlanta 102, Boston 93

ATLANTA, April 26 (UPI) -- Josh Smith had 27 points, nine boards and six assists Saturday to lead the Atlanta Hawks past Boston 102-93 in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal.

The Celtics lead the series, 2-1. Game 4 is set for Monday in Atlanta.

Joe Johnson added 23 points, seven rebounds, and six assists for Atlanta in its first home playoff game since 1999. Al Horford had 17 points and 14 rebounds. Mike Bibby had 12 points and eight assists.

Kevin Garnett had 32 points and 10 rebounds for the Celtics, who won the first two games by a combined 42 points. Paul Pierce had 17 points and Ray Allen scored 13 -- but the two combined shot just 10-of-27 from the field.

Atlanta hit 10-of-18 three pointers.
