PHILADELPHIA, April 19 (UPI) -- David Wright hit a two-run double in the top of the first inning Saturday to start the New York Mets' 4-2 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies.
Jose Reyes added a two-run homer in the seventh to give New York a 4-0 advantage.
Wright, Reyes and Ryan Church all had two hits for the Mets, whose winning streak grew to five straight games.
The winning pitcher was starter Oliver Perez (2-0). He did not allow a run on four hits in 5 2/3 innings with five walks and seven strikeouts.
Five relievers came in before closer Billy Wagner registered his fourth save this season.
Philadelphia's Chase Utley had two hits, one a solo homer in the seventh. Carlos Ruiz drove in the other run in the eighth, while So Taguchi had two hits for the Phillies, who have dropped three of four.
Losing pitcher Jamie Moyer (1-1) gave up two earned runs and seven hits in six innings.
