PALM COAST, Fla., March 29 (UPI) -- Bernhard Langer posted a 6-under 66 Saturday to take a two-stroke lead after two rounds of the seniors' Ginn Championship at Palm Coast, Fla.
Langer, who won this year at the Toshiba Classic, completed 36 holes with a tournament-record 11-under 133. The previous 36-hole mark of 134 was set by Keith Fergus last year in the first Ginn Championship.
First-round leader Lonnie Nielsen bogeyed the final hole to finish with a 69-135 for second place. Fred Funk is one stroke back at 136 after a 69.
Tim Simpson chipped in for an eagle on the 10th to get within one shot of the lead, but was plus-one from there. He wound up at 68-137.
Joe Ozaki had 7-under 65 to move into a share of fifth place at 139 with Nick Price, Craig Stadler, Mark McNulty and Ben Crenshaw.
