SUNRISE, Fla., March 27 (UPI) -- Kari Lehtonen made 42 saves Thursday and Bobby Holik scored twice to boost the Atlanta Thrashers to a 3-2 victory over Florida.
The Thrashers, already eliminated from playoff contention, ended a five-game losing streak.

Florida's loss pushed the Panthers to the brink of elimination from the post-season chase.
Mark Recchi gave Atlanta a 2-1 lead with 6:13 to play and Holik made it a two-goal game with 51 seconds to play.
Holik's late goal turned out to be the game-winner when Radek Dvorak scored with 1.9 seconds remaining.
Florida played its 45th one-goal game of the season. The Panthers are 22-15-8 in those contests.
