NBA: San Antonio 102, Chicago 80

CHICAGO, March 20 (UPI) -- Tony Parker scored 23 points and Tim Duncan had 22 Thursday to help the San Antonio Spurs halt a four-game losing streak with a 102-80 decision over Chicago.

The skid was the longest of the year for the Spurs, who are 1 1/2 games behind New Orleans for the lead of both the Southwest Division and the Western Conference.

Chicago was led by 18 points from Luol Deng. The Bulls have lost five out of seven and are two games out of the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

San Antonio closed out the first half on a 14-3 run to take a 55-36 advantage at intermission. Parker had eight points during that run, including the last six.

The Spurs have defeated the Bulls in 12 of their last 14 meetings.
