NBA: Boston 99, Milwaukee 77

MILWAUKEE, March 16 (UPI) -- Kevin Garnett's 19 points Saturday led Boston's 99-77 rout of Milwaukee.

A 28-16 second period led to a 53-35 halftime lead and the Bucks never threatened in the second half.

Eddie House scored 17 with three rebounds and two assists.

Rajon Rondo and Paul Pierce scored 13 apiece for the Celtics, who have won 10 of their last 11 games.

Milwaukee got 16 points, three rebounds and three assists from reserve Charlie Bell.

Michael Redd scored 15 points and Charlie Villanueva added 10 for the Bucks, who have lost five in a row.

They played without forward Andrew Bogut (thigh) and Boston missed Ray Allen (sprained ankle).
