NBA: Washington 119, LA Clippers 109 (OT)

WASHINGTON, March 15 (UPI) -- Antawn Jamison had 36 points and 11 rebounds Saturday when Washington escaped with a 119-109 overtime win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

With the Clippers leading 100-97 and two seconds left in the extra five minutes, Jamison sank three throws after he was fouled on a three-point attempt.

Washington won the contest going away by out-scoring Los Angeles 19-9 in the overtime.

Caron Butler scored 16 with 12 rebounds and seven assists.

Darius Songalia and Antonio Daniels scored 14 points apiece.

DeShawn Stevenson scored 11 and Roger Mason 10 for the Wizards, who have won three of the last four games between the teams.

Los Angeles got 34 points, five rebounds and three assists from Corey Maggette.

Tim Thomas scored 17 with seven rebounds.

Josh Powell had 14 points and nine rebounds and Cuttino Mobley scored 13 for the Clippers, who have lost six of seven at Washington.
