ST. LOUIS, Jan. 13 (UPI) -- Alexander Edler scored a shootout goal for Vancouver and Roberto Luongo followed with a save Sunday, giving the Canucks a 4-3 victory over the St. Louis Blues.
Edler fired a wrist shot past goaltender Manny Legace for the only goal of the shootout. Luongo then stopped a shot by Andy McDonald to preserve the win.

Daniel Sedin had a goal and two assists for Vancouver and Sedin's brother, Henrik, added a goal and assist. Luongo finished with 19 saves.
Christian Backman and Brad Boyes each had a goal and assist and Keith Tkachuk added a goal for Blues. Legace blocked 22 shots.
