NBA: Memphis 124, Washington 118

MEMPHIS, Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Juan Carlos Navarro hit five three-pointers and scored 28 points Saturday night to lead the Memphis Grizzlies past the Washington Wizards 124-118.

Memphis trailed 53-50 at the half but outscored the Wizards 32-25 in the third period to carry a 92-88 lead into the fourth.

Rudy Gay had 27 points and eight rebounds and Pau Gasol had 21 points and nine rebounds for Memphis. Mike Miller had 17 points, six rebounds and six assists, while Kyle Lowry added 17 points, five rebounds and five assists for the Grizzlies, who broke a two-game skid.

Washington was led by Antawn Jamison's 41 points and 11 rebounds. Caron Butler had 27 points, seven rebounds and six assists, while both Antonio Daniels and Roger Mason scored 10 points for the Wizards, who have lost two straight on the heels of a six-game winning streak.

Washington went 10-for-19 on three-pointers and Memphis was 13-for-29.
