DANVILLE, Calif., Oct. 7 (UPI) -- Suzann Pettersen beat Lorena Ochoa in a two-hole sudden-death playoff Sunday to win the Longs Drugs Challenge at Danville, Calif.
Both players were 11-under-par 277 after Pettersen' 1-over 73 in Sunday's final round, and Ochoa's 1-under 71.

Pettersen's victory, the third in her LPGA career, was worth $165,000.
Ochoa took home a runner-up check of $101,967.
Pettersen continued the best season in her career after winning the McDonald's LPGA Championship in June.
Juli Inkster (70) was third at 7-under 281, while Lori Kane (77) and Natalie Gulbis (66) shared fourth at 6-under 282.
