MLB: N.Y. Yankees 3, Toronto 2 (10 inn.)

NEW YORK, July 17 (UPI) -- Robinson Cano hit an RBI single in the bottom of the 10th inning Tuesday, delivering the New York Yankees a 3-2 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays.

Alex Rodriguez had an RBI and also scored the winning run for the Yankees, who have won four straight and 10 of their last 14 games. Melky Cabrera had three hits in the win.

Frank Thomas was 3-for-4 with an RBI for Toronto.

Luis Vizcaino (6-2) pitched a scoreless top of the 10th inning to card the win.

Rodriguez led off the bottom of the inning and was hit on the elbow by Casey Janssen (2-2). An out later Jorge Posada was intentionally walked and Cano singled into the left-field corner to bring Rodriguez home.
