Edwards wins Dover 200 Busch race

DOVER, Del., June 2 (UPI) -- Carl Edwards led for 122 of 200 laps Saturday to win the Dover 200 at the Dover International Speedway.

Edwards finished the race under the caution flag ahead of pole winner Denny Hamlin, for his third victory of the season and the 12th of his Busch career.

Hamlin won the pole earlier in the day. The race was 200 laps around the famous "Monster Mile."

Scott Wimmer, Casey Mears and Matt Kenseth completed the top-five in the 43-car field.

The next race in the Busch Series will be run next Saturday, June 9, at the Nashville Superspeedway.
