MLB: Arizona 8, Houston 4

PHOENIX, May 27 (UPI) -- Livan Hernandez allowed four runs and 11 hits in a complete game effort Sunday as the Arizona Diamondbacks beat Houston, 8-4, to finish a four-game sweep.

The veteran right-hander threw 114 pitches -- 79 for strikes -- in his first complete game since Sept. 9, 2005.

Carlos Quentin hit a two-run homer. Mark Reynolds had two hits and two RBI. Alberto Callaspo had two runs, two hits and one RBI; while Chris B. Young and Conor Jackson both had one run, two hits and one RBI for the Diamondbacks -- who have won seven of their last 10 games.

Morgan Ensberg belted a solo homer among two hits; Brad Ausmus and Carlos Lee had one RBI each; Hunter Pence had a run and two hits; while Adam Everett had three hits for the Astros -- who have lost eight in a row.

Loser Roy Oswalt (6-4) yielded six runs -- five earned -- and 10 hits in six innings.
