MLB: Philadelphia 11, Chi. Cubs 7

PHILADELPHIA, May 12 (UPI) -- Abraham Nunez and Carlos Ruiz both drove in three runs Saturday as Philadelphia beat the Chicago Cubs 11-7.

Both teams scored six times in the seventh inning.

One of Ruiz' three hits was a two-run homer and he also scored twice. Chase Utley scored twice, drove in a run and had a solo homer among his three hits. Greg Dobbs had two runs, four hits and two RBI, while Nunez had two runs and two hits for Philadelphia.

Starter Freddy Garcia hit an RBI double for the Phillies, who have split their last four games.

The winner was Antonio Alfonseca (2-1).

Matt Murton hit a three-run homer and Jacque Jones hit a two-run double to provide most of the Cubs' punch. Aramis Ramirez scored a run and drove in two for Chicago, while Derek Lee scored twice and collected four hits.

Cesar Izruris had a run and three hits, and Alfonso Soriano had a run and two hits for the Cubs, who have lost four of five.

The loser was Bob Howry (0-3).
