NBA: Chicago 109, Denver 108

CHICAGO, March 22 (UPI) -- Tyrus Thomas scored with less than a second to play Thursday give the Chicago Bulls a 109-108 home win over the Denver Nuggets.

Thomas tipped in a rebound off Ben Gordon's desperation jumper with 0.2 seconds remaining as the Bulls pulled out their fifth win in their last seven games.

Allen Iverson scored 31 points and Carmelo Anthony 28 for the Nuggets. Iverson scored on a layup with 13.1 seconds to play to give the Nuggets the lead. The defense trapped down on Gordon on the final possession, but he was able to put the ball on the rim where Thomas was waiting to tap in the winner.
