NHL: Vancouver 2, Edmonton 1

EDMONTON, Alberta, March 19 (UPI) -- Daniel Sedin had a goal and an assist and Roberto Luongo made 36 saves Monday to lead the Vancouver Canucks to a 2-1 victory over the Edmonton Oilers.

Trevor Linden scored the other goal and Henrik Sedin added two assists for the Canucks, who have won their last three games.

Vancouver has 94 points, good for third place in the NHL Western Conference and three points ahead of Minnesota for first place in the Northwest Division.

Raffi Torres scored the only goal and Dwayne Roloson made 36 saves for the Oilers, who have lost their last 11 games.
