NBA: Detroit 105, Phoenix 83

PHOENIX, March 17 (UPI) -- Ronald Murray had 25 points and six steals Friday night as Detroit blasted the Phoenix Suns, 105-83, for its fifth straight victory.

To register its 22-point win, Detroit overcame a 26-24 deficit after one quarter, built a 48-43 halftime lead, and out-scored Phoenix, 57-40, in the second half.

The second half output included a 30-19 fourth quarter.

Rasheed Wallace had 20 points, four rebounds, and three assists; Chris Webber had 17 points and nine rebounds; and reserve Carlos Delfino added 13 points and seven rebounds for the Pistons, who have best road record in the Eastern Conference at 23-10.

Amare Stoudemire led Phoenix with 24 points and 15 rebounds.

Steve Nash had 20 points and six assists, and Boris Diaw added 12 points and three assists for the Suns, who had their six-game winning streak snapped.
