NBA: Orlando 101, Utah 90

ORLANDO, Fla., March 15 (UPI) -- Dwight Howard had 31 points and 15 rebounds Wednesday night to lead the Orlando Magic to a 101-90 victory over the Utah Jazz.

Orlando trailed, 23-21, after the first quarter, but took a 42-40 lead into the locker room at the half. Orlando out-scored Utah, 35-24, in the third to seize control of the contest.

Hedo Turkoglu had 22 points and eight assists, while Grant Hill had 12 points and three assists to overcome six turnovers for the Magic, who broke a three-game losing streak.

Carlos Boozer led Utah with 29 points and seven rebounds. Mehmet Okur had 21 points and 12 rebounds, and Deron Williams had 14 points and 11 assists for the Jazz, who rallied late but lost their second game in a row.

They trailed by 22 points in the fourth quarter, but got within 92-88 after a late 17-0 run.
