HOUSTON, March 11 (UPI) -- Yao Ming had 37 points and seven rebounds Sunday night as the Houston Rockets topped the Orlando Magic, 103-92.
Houston took a 31-23 lead into the second quarter; led by 58-45 and led by as many as 20 points in the third.
Tracy McGrady had 19 points and 10 assists; Juwan Howard had 14 points and five rebounds; and Shane Battier had 12 points and eight rebounds for the Rockets, who have won three in a row.
Grant Hill paced Orlando with 17 points.
Orlando used a 15-5 spurt late in the fourth quarter to cut its deficit to 96-86, but came no closer.
Dwight Howard had 16 points, 12 rebounds and three assists; and Darko Milicic added 15 points, nine rebounds, and three assists for the Magic, who lost five of their last six games overall.
