NASHVILLE, March 9 (UPI) -- Jason Arnott had two goals and one assist Thursday night as the Nashville Predators pounded the Calgary Flames, 6-3.
The teams matched goals in every period, with Nashville scoring twice and Calgary once in all three stanzas.
Shea Weber also scored twice; Ramzi Abid and Shea Weber scored once; J.P. Dumont had two assists; and Chris Mason gave up three goals on 31 shots for the Predators, who have won five times in their last seven games, despite a two-game skid.
Jarome Iginla scored twice; Jeff Friesen scored once; and Miikka Kiprusoff was beaten six times on 36 Nashville shots for the Flames, who had their five-game winning streak snapped.
Nashville extended its lead to three points over second-place Detroit in the Central Division.
Weber and Iginla scored the game's power play goals.
